Breakfast
Vanilla Breakfast Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. softened cream cheese
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 2 tbsp. Southern Vanilla Mix
- ½ cup toasted chopped pecans
- Whole wheat toast
Directions: Blend cream cheese, banana, honey, Southern Vanilla Mix and pecans until well combined. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour until firm. Spread on whole wheat toast, and grill sandwich in a skillet with a little melted butter.
Vanilla Breakfast Shake
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe bananas (peeled and frozen)
- ½ cup Southern Vanilla Mix
- 1 tbsp. malted milk powder
- 1 ½ cup milk
Directions: Blend bananas, Southern Vanilla Mix, malted milk powder, and milk.
Beverages
Vanilla Coke
Ingredients:
- 1 can Coke
- 1 tbsp Southern Vanilla Mix
Directions: Add a splash of Black Cherry Mix to a glass of vanilla coke.
Vanilla Cooler
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooled very strong coffee
- ¼ cup Hershey’s Chocolate syrup
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup Southern Vanilla Mix
Directions: Whisk together 2 cups cooled, very strong coffee with ¼ cup Hershey's chocolate syrup, 2 cups cold milk, and 1 cup Southern Vanilla Mix. Serve over ice, or warm in microwave. This mixture can be kept in the fridge for several days. For a tasty dessert, pour over a scoop of ice-cream.
Vanilla Velvet
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Chocolate Ice Cream
- ½ cup Southern Vanilla Mix
- Shot of Rum
Directions: Mix all ingredients together in a blender. Top with a dollop of whipped cream.
Vanilla Iced Coffee
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. Southern Vanilla Mix
- 8 oz. iced coffee
Directions: Add Southern Vanilla Mix to iced coffee.
Vanilla Italian Soda
Ingredients:
- 12oz ice
- 1 oz. Southern Vanilla Mix
- Club Soda
- 1 oz. Half & Half
Directions: Fill a 12 oz. glass with ice. Add Southern Vanilla Mix. Fill glass with club soda and add a splash of Half & Half or flavored whipped cream.
Vanilla Polar Bear
Ingredients:
- 1 shot vodka
- 1 shot Southern Vanilla Mix
- 1 cup Milk
Directions: In a rocks glass, pour a shot of vodka & Southern Vanilla Mix over ice. Fill glass with milk.
Cafe Vanilla Royal
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Southern Vanilla Mix
- ½ cup strong black coffee
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- ¼ cup Southern Vanilla Mix
- 8oz thawed whipped topping
Directions: Blend until smooth Southern Vanilla Mix, coffee, vanilla ice-cream. Pour into tall glass. Blend Southern Vanilla Mix and whipped topping. Place a dollop of topping on each glass.
Sparkling Vanilla Soda
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup ice
- 8 oz. soda water
- 1 ½ oz. Southern Vanilla Mix
Directions: Fill glass 3/4 full with ice. Add soda water and Southern Vanilla Mix.
Madagascar Iced Tea
Ingredients:
- 1 qt. brewed Tea
- ½ cup Southern Vanilla Mix
Directions: Brew good quality tea according to directions. Add Southern Vanilla Mix. Serve over ice.

Vanilla Fruit Dip
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. softened cream cheese
- 7 oz. marshmallow cream
- ½ cup Southern Vanilla Mix
Directions: Mix together cream cheese, marshmallow cream and Southern Vanilla mix.
Whipped Vanilla Butter
Ingredients:
- 1 cup softened butter
- 2 tbsp. Southern Vanilla Mix
Directions: Cream butter until smooth. Add Southern Vanilla Mix. Blend together well. Chill.
Vanilla Fruit Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- ¼ cup Southern Vanilla Mix
- 1 bowl fresh fruit
Directions: In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, brown sugar and Southern Vanilla Mix. Pour over fresh fruit and stir.
Desserts
Vanilla Angel Food Cake
Ingredients:
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup Southern Vanilla Mix
- 1 cup thawed Cool Whip
- 1 small package instant vanilla pudding
Directions: Mix together milk, Southern Vanilla Mix, Cool Whip and instant pudding. Slice an angel food cake in half, cover bottom layer, replace top, then cover the rest of the cake with the mixture and sprinkle with toasted almonds and/or sliced fresh strawberries. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Vanilla Baked Apple
Ingredients:
- 1 apple cored and sliced
- 1 tbsp. Southern Vanilla Mix
Directions: Sprinkle Southern Vanilla Mix over apple. Microwave the apple for 3 minutes.
Vanilla Bread Pudding
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup Southern Vanilla Mix
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 pint scalded milk
- 2 cups bread cubes
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 cup toasted pecans
Directions: Beat eggs lightly. Add Southern Vanilla Mix, brown sugar and salt. Stir in milk. Pour mixture over bread cubes in a buttered baking dish. Dot the bread mixture with butter. Place the dish in a pan of hot water. Bake the pudding at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes or until custard is set. Garnish with toasted pecans.
Vanilla Dessert Waffle
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. cream cheese softened
- 8 oz. thawed cool whip
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- ½ cup Southern Vanilla Mix
Directions: Blend together the cream cheese, whipped topping, and Southern Vanilla Mix. Fold in the pecans. Scoop onto waffle and drizzle with more Southern Vanilla Mix.
Vanilla Apple Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 tsp. Southern Vanilla Mix
- 1 cup natural apple sauce
Directions: Add Southern Vanilla Mix to natural apple sauce. Serve hot or cold.

Vanilla Green Beans
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. slivered almonds
- 1 can green beans
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. Southern Vanilla Mix
Directions: Put all ingredients in a sauce pan. Stir and cook for 5 min. Serve Hot.
Vanilla Baked Beans
Ingredients:
- 28 oz. can baked beans
- ¼ cup chopped onions
- 2 tbsp. mustard
- ½ cu Southern Vanilla Mix
Directions: Mix together baked beans, onions, mustard, and Southern Vanilla Mix. Bake for 20-25 minutes or heat on grill while cooking meat.
Snacks & Appetizers
Savannah Squares Vanilla Crunch
Ingredients:
- 6 cups Chex cereal
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup Southern Vanilla Mix
- ½ tsp. baking soda
Directions: Stir together Chex cereal and pecan halves in a 13 X 9 pan. Melt butter, brown sugar and Southern Vanilla Mix. Heat until boiling; then, simmer for two minutes. Add baking soda and stir until foamy. Pour mixture over cereal and nuts and stir to coat well. Bake at 250 for one hour, stirring mixture once. Remove from oven and spread on a cookie sheet to cool.
